Here you can take your Pilates practice to a new level under the gentle, hands-on guidance of studio owner, Bonny-Lynn Russell.

New on the Canmore scene, Embody Pilates opened in April 2011. But, Bonny-Lynn is by no means new to the practice. Having studied at Boulder’s The Pilates Center – widely considered the “Harvard” school for Pilates – she's one of the first Canadians to have graduated from their Masters Bridge Program. A teacher for ten years now, she believes in teaching the practice as founder Joseph Pilates intended – by incorporating mat work, equipment and apparatus.

Located on Main Street, just above the studio’s sister store Embody Activewear, Embody Pilates is a spacious, calming space. Pine surfaces, mirrors and plants offer a relaxing and distraction-free atmosphere.  The studio offers the perfect arrangement for a one-on-one experience with Bonny-Lynn. With a maximum of ten students, her mat classes are intimate, guaranteeing each student the attention they need towards greater health.

In just the first few moments of working with you, Bonny-Lynn conducts a quick scan of the way you move to create a custom Pilates program that’ll bring your body back into balance. You’ll leave fresh-faced and revitalized after you’ve fired up your core and strengthened your body from the inside out. And stay tuned into 2013, as she'll begin offering a world class Teacher Training program in the rich tradition of Joseph Pilates original method - just 1 of 2 studios in Canada to offer this program with a total of 850 hours of training.
