It usually happens about two days before the end of your vacation. You sigh deeply, look around and think ‘wouldn’t it be nice to never have to go back’. Especially when ‘back’ means rejoining the frantic rat race, a busy life full of stress and the frustrations of ‘working for the man’.
Guess what, you can change your pace. It’s possible to carve out a life in paradise and this is your guide to escaping the rat race – from someone who’s done it.
We meet Sandra Tedeschi, the owner of a surf and yoga retreat in Santa Teresa, Â Costa Rica who made the leap from being gainfully employed (and on good career trajectory) to running her own small business in paradise. She shares her story, explains the pitfalls to avoid and gives her top tips in determining if you have what it takes to quit your job and start a business in the tropics.
Does this look something like your dream? Tell us about it. Do you think you could do it? We’d love to hear how you reacted to Sandra’s story. And, we’d also love it if you share this dream-inducing guide with others.
If this video made you want to catch a few waves and take in the chill vibe of Costa Rica, find more information about Sandra and Vajra Sol Yoga Adventures by surfing over to her site.
A special thanks to Sandra and all her surfing yogis for letting us be a part of their experience.
