Set in the beautiful Guadalhorce Valley in Andalucia, this exquisite retreat wakes you up with a breathtaking landscape of rolling hills. You’ll sleep in a white canvas tent with gorgeous beds, sheepskin floors and pebble-lined pathways. There is electricity, but the tents are lit by candle every night to add to the romantic Spanish vibe.
Yoga classes will be led every morning in a vinyasa style practice suitable for all levels by experienced yoga teachers Courtney Sunday and Jennifer Stewart. Afterwards, breakfast will be lovingly provided by Pachamama Catering with local and organic ingredients. Sink your teeth into Eggs Benedict with roasted tomato, mushrooms and wilted spinach or a selection of fresh fruit topped with homemade raw goat milk kefir.
Some afternoons will have excursions, to the nearby lake and beach, while others will be dedicated to the fine art of relaxation. Read by the private pool or write in your journal while lying in a hammock overlooking orange blossoms.
Before dinner, there will be a delicious 2-hour yin class, allowing the muscles of the body to surrender even further into blissful relaxation.
Finish the day with a Mojito and a phenomenal dinner, watching the sunset with friends, new and old.
Just a half hour from Malaga airport, there will be ample opportunity for adventure through the Spanish countryside after the retreat. Or the adventure may be in treating yourself to this exquisite opportunity, hearing your “Om” reverberate over the valley.
