Erin Urton tuja wellness
Erin Urton is a yoga & meditation teacher and all-round body nerd that loves to wander the forest, laugh, gaze at the sea and discover. Her motto for a happy life: be rested, rooted and resilient. Based in Squamish, BC, she leads classes, workshops, and soon, retreats across western Canada. She's spent oodles of time studying and practicing yoga and mindfulness, but feels her time spent high in the mountains and deep in the forests have taught her what it really means to be clear, connected and vibrant. As a former professional ecologist, Erin has a fascination with wild beings, nature and deep ecology as well as a passion for sustainable, local and organic nourishment. She is one of a rare group of fully certified 800hr Vijnana Yoga teachers in Canada and is also a regular contributor here at tuja wellness. Find out more at www.erinurton.com.

A tuja-sized thanks to our sponsors:

RiseRISE Kombucha We're proud to call ourselves Canada's best (and biggest) kombucha company. Kombucha, a living tea, is full of bacterial cultures that aid digestive health. Don't let that scare you off - our history is as unique as six flavours. Founded by two world travellers, Mathieu Gallant and David Cote, our first bacterial culture was smuggled all the way from Hawaii.  That same culture lives on within each of bottle and is what makes our fair-trade, vegan drink an essential for people looking to improve their health, digestion and energy levels.

Love My Mat

Love My Mat is a mother-daughter business based in Hamilton, founded in 2008. We save gently used curtain, tablecloths and more from landfills to handcraft them into beautiful, high quality and often one-of-a-kind yoga & meditation accessories. We believe in the benefits of a daily yoga & meditation practice and aim to provide you with all the props you need to keep your home practice a priority.
