tuja's 21-Day Eat Clean Challenge

We know, we know - these days the words ‘cleanse’ and ‘detox’ are getting thrown around more than confetti at a wedding. But this is different. Whole, clean food that makes you feel good, and not… well, starving.

We hate going hungry and feeling deprived just as much as the next guy or gal and that’s why we’ve created our own Eat Clean Challenge. Over 21 days we want to help you redefine your notion of a ‘cleanse’ by first adding in MORE healthy food. Then, we'll take out some of the not-so-great-for-you-all-the-time food. We’ll give you all of the tools - including lots of recipes for delicious, satisfying meals so that your healthier eating habit is just 21 Days away.

SIGN UP NOW and commit to a cleaner body and mind this spring. Read the chart below to see which Challenge (Free OR tuja Eat Clean Premium Experience) is right for you!

There’s no better time than Spring to hit the ‘reset’ button on your body and we’re pulling together a team of qualified Nutrition Experts to help you make it happen. People like Dr. Laura Imola (Naturopathic Doctor), Lynsey Walker (RHN, MSc), Cara Roth (RHN), Chelsey Allen (RHN), Michelle Tirmandi (RHN) and more.

When: Begins Monday May 4th, 2015

Where: Online/Your Home

Why: Because a little spring clean of your diet is more fun to do with a crew. And it never hurts to take stock of what foods are working for you and which are not.

How It Works

The tuja Eat Clean Challenge is 21 days start to finish and focuses on whole, natural foods rather than trendy detox strategies.

In the first week (“More of This Mode”), we’ll work on adding more good stuff into your daily diet. Each day we’ll talk about a different important healthy food to fit into your day.

In the second week (“No Go Mode”), we’ll work on eliminating certain foods from your diet. This is a more relaxed version of an elimination diet - as we’ll remove foods from your daily routine - one at a time (only temporarily, don’t worry!). One day sugar will get the boot, another day it’ll be alcohol, etc. We’re all for good, wholesome “eating in moderation” but sometimes you gotta give your body a break so it knows what moderation actually means.

In the third week (“Maintain Mode”), we’ll be full on eatin’ clean. We’ve added all the good stuff and eliminated the “bad stuff” so now we’ll see how tasty and satisfying a healthy diet can be. You’ll be in the full cleanse mode now and we bet you won’t even notice!

Throughout the challenge Premium Experience members will have recipes, meal plans and grocery lists to support their food journey. Members of the free challenge will have the schedule alone to guide them.

FAQs

Q: I am Vegan/ Vegetarian/ Gluten Free/ other. Will the challenge have food that suits my dietary restrictions?

A: Yes! The recipes and meal plans provided to the Premium Experience members will all be vegetarian (with indications on how to make it vegan), naturally gluten-free with an emphasis on allergy-free as much as possible.

Q: I’m a pretty clean and conscious eater and have done various kinds of cleanses and detoxes before. Is the challenge worthwhile for me?

A: Yes. We’ve designed the challenge to be interesting and educational regardless of your experience with clean eating, detoxes and cleanses. We’ve also got a ton of great new recipes that we think you’ll love - no matter your experience with cooking, it’s always nice to find some new recipes and inspiration, right? Also, if you want to up your challenge even more, we’ll encourage you to incorporate superfoods and other interesting ingredients.

Q: Is the Clean Eating Challenge free?

A: The basic 21 Day Challenge is free, but it’s a scaled-down version of the challenge and will only include what is listed in the above chart (the daily schedule of what to add to your diet, remove from your diet, etc.) The tuja Clean Eating Premium Experience is where the good stuff is at (also outlined in the above chart) with recipes, meal plans, grocery lists and much more. And, we think it’s a fair price.

Q: Can I still join the challenge even though I found out about it after May 4th?

A: Please do! Sign-up for the challenge anytime throughout May. The Challenge ends on May 25th but the Premium Experience is available for purchase anytime - so that you can do the challenge on your own, whenever it’s convenient.

Q: I’m not keen on trendy “cleanses” or “detoxes”. Is this challenge for me?

A: Absolutely. We will be putting a major emphasis on whole, natural foods and we guarantee you’ll be more than satisfied with your daily meals and snacks (there will be no starving in this challenge!). No gimmicks or tricks; we’ll add more of the good healthy stuff and take out some of the bad.
