Vancouver City Connector and lover of all things yoga and wellness, Erin Urton, shares her craft: divine and decadent smoothie creative. Slurp your way towards vitality with these anything-but-ordinary, power-packed blender concoctions.

Remember your grade school crush? How your face flushed beet-red at the mere sight of said suitor? Well, you’ll be instantly smitten with this beta-carotene boasting blend of the week. It tastes like a creamsicle. Seriously.

Orange-coloured fruits and veggies provide vision-supporting vitamin A. An added bonus: the superfood lucuma lends a dose of iron, zinc, vitamin B3, calcium and protein.

Remember: organic rules!

Ingredients

1 navel orange, peeled
2 slim-sized carrots (you can add more if your blender’s got the powa)
1 Tbsp soaked goji berries
1 Tbsp hemp hearts
1 tsp lucuma powder
½ cup orange juice
1 cup coconut milk (the beverage kind)

Blend on high until carrot chunks disappear.

One taste and you’ll be blushing.
