We know you may be thinking, “Umm, shouldn’t we be kind every day? Why do I need a challenge for that?”
You’re right – we SHOULD be kind every day, whenever possible (and the Dalai Lama would tell you “it is always possible”). But like a lot of ‘shoulds’ (like drinking 8 glasses of water a day) it doesn’t always happen. Kindness is a habit. And like any habit, practice makes it perfect.
We want to spend 21 days doing at least one consciously kind thing a day. We hope the act of sprinklin’ your kindness will make you feel not only kinder, but happier and healthier too. (And it might just make the people around you a little more kind!) Forget cruel – it’s cool to be kind.

How It Works
Once the challenge kicks off on (World Kindness Day – by the way) you’ll receive a daily email with your Kindness Challenge each day for 21 days (or, one new kind act every day). We’re going to challenge you to be kind to yourself, the people that surround you and our planet.
Your daily challenges will be straightforward and simple – but always something different. You won’t need any special materials and you won’t have to spend a ton of coin (if any).
We’ve recruited some of the kindest people we know in our tuja community to issue your daily kindness act. Their stories are sure to inspire you too!
And heck, while you’re at it, share your daily kindness encounters with us and the kind community on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. We’d love to see pictures – and especially VIDEO – of your humble kind encounters. If and when you can, please document your experience and post to Instagram (or youtube if you’re feeling techy). At the end of the challenge we’ll compile your experiences into a kind video montage.
